J.C. Boisset Les Ursulines Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2013

Les Ursulines is situated on a property that was a convent until the French Revolution, when the Ursuline order of nuns was forced to vacate the land. The 2013 has superb fruit clarity on the nose with black and red cherry clearly defined. Touches of earth and garrigue round out the aroma profile. There's a sweet core of ripe red cherry on the palate with good balance and grippy tannins. Enjoy this tonight with roast lamb, or allow it 5+ years of quiet contemplation in your cellar.
