Calcagno Feudo di Mezzo Nerello Mascalese 2011

The 2011 Nerello Mascalese Feudo di Mezzo delivers medium body and a pretty garnet color with amber highlights. This is a beautiful wine that comes into splendid view with two or three hours of aeration. Dried fruit and forest floor segue to white almond skin and dusty volcanic notes. This Nerello Mascalese (with 15% Nerello Cappuccio) stands out for its elegance and grace.
