No shrinking violet, this rendition captures the brightness of the vintage with fragrant red and black fruits, mocha, licorice and sage on the bouquet; the palate offers a succulent core of vibrant red fruits, fresh acidity and a long, pure and evenly balanced conclusion; there is plenty of wood here, but the fruit handles it with aplomb.
