This is an amazing, sangiovese-based red with a blueberry and violet character. Full body, chewy tannins and a long finish. Muscular and intense. Very tannic, but will soften beautifully with age. Better in 2017. Score - 94. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, June 30, 2014)
