This is a fantastic bottle with currants, blueberry, hot stone and light hint of mint and sage. Full body, with firm and silky tannins that are wonderfully polished. The winemaker says they have been working towards a slightly fresher and more linear style. Made for aging but enjoyable now. Like the great old BVs of Napa Valley. Try in 2018. Score - 97.
