Moraine Pinot Noir 2012

This young pinot estate grown on the Naramata Bench has nicely ripe cherry fruit, complexity and balance, but it needs a year or two to unwind. and to see if some flinty sulphur blows off. Lots of matchstick now with meaty, herbal notes. It is a gutsy little pinot that pinot fans will like to dig into. A bit edgy but it has character and excellent length with cranberry-currant fruit.
