Wolf Blass Black Label Cabernet/Shiraz/Malbec 2009

Impenetrable colour; as ever this is no shrinking violet, as it is full throttle, pedal to the metal power, with super-ripe, but not over-ripe, black fruit melding with fine-grained toasty oak in abundance; the palate is densely packed, big-boned and hefty, yet remains relatively light on its feet; big is beautiful for some.
