Hands down this is one of the best - and most marketable - labels; dog lovers and wine aficionados seem to be symbiotic. Black cherry and raspberry hit the palate, with some tannins on the finish. Matched very well with barbecue. It's 70 percent Cabernet Sauvignon with the remaining composed of Merlot and Petite Sirah; all three grapes play nicely here. What could be perceived as a gimmicky label wraps a bottle of a pretty nice wine from Napa Valley.
