The Cordillera line is an exercise in small-production, artisanal winemaking. Selected from vines averaging in excess of 12 years of age, this Syrah is loaded with juicy cherry and sweet fruit notes. Big flavours and grippy tannins, but with such exceptional balance that it never loses its approachability. Quite an elegant choice for herb roast chicken, or lamb stew. (VINTAGES panel, March 2014)
