Louis Jadot Pommard Epenots 1er Cru 2010

In contrast to a number of the preceding wines, this is almost devoid of wood influence which allows the ripe and very earthy cassis and black raspberry aromas to enjoy center stage. The rich, full-bodied and enveloping middle weight plus flavors possess a suave, even silky mouth feel though the typical Pommard-like tannins arrive just at the very end of the exceptionally persistent finish. This is really quite good and well-worth considering though note that it will require extensive cellar time. Drink: 2022+. Special Designation: Outstanding. Score - 90-93.
