Kaiken Terroir Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

The 2012 Kaiken Terroir Series Cabernet Sauvignon, formally known as Kaiken Corte, includes 12% Malbec and 8% Petit Verdot in the blend. The nose is layered and complex with suggestions of cherry, cassis, plum, tobacco, coconut and vanilla. Balanced and structured, there is a pleasing richness to the flavours and a caressing quality to the tannins. A lot of wine here for the price. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014)
