A splendid, long growing season, culminating in a Nov. 12 harvest, yielded one very ripe, full-flavoured red. Aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels, it shows luscious cassis, dark chocolate and vanilla flavours, with black olive, cedar and coffee nuances.
