This has a similar nose to that of the Langhe, in that this is very focused on fruit and bright cassis, raspberry and cherry notes, some gentle fragrance too. The palate's bright and juicy and carries purple fruits, cassis and cherry, light tannins, good concentration and elegance - balanced. Well worth stepping up from the Langhe. Score - 91.
