Double Barrel Talisker & Craigellachie Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Intense aromas of peat, iodine, toffee apple, pinecone and briar. On the palate it's warm and smoky with a dense, mouthfilling quality like a rolling cloud. With a few drops of distilled water, notions of baked apple emerge and the smoothness of the spirit comes to the fore. Finishes impressively long, with a smoky power. (VINTAGES panel, March 2014)
