Stefano Farina Le Brume Langhe Rosso 2009

This is a mature garnet shaded red with lifted very meaty/chorizo, meaty/earthy notes, along with currant fruit, vermouth-like herbaceousness. It's mid-weight fairly dense and sour edged, but it has some sweetness as well. Some grit and rusticity. Very good to excellent length. Decent value in authentic Italian red. Score - 89.
