The 2013 The Game Reserve Chardonnay has an orthodox but not unattractive nose that is just a straight-down-the-line Chardonnay, no more/no less. The palate is well-balanced with a keen line of acidity, a little more reserved than the nose suggests, allowing the finish to remain poised and fresh. This is a deft commercial Chardonnay.
