To give you some context if you are not familiar with Vranac, this grape is genetically related to Primitivo and Zinfandel. This version offers mocha and caramel aromas in support of the plum, dark fruit and herb notes on the nose. Robust red and dark fruit stands tall in the mouth. Great structure and good balance with firm tannins. This will be a super popular addition to any barbecue - try it with grilled steak, ribs, pork chops or gourmet burgers. (VINTAGES panel, May 2014)
