The Ciacci family have been producing wines at Mocali since the 1950s. Their 2012 Morellino di Scansano has lovely notes of cedar and earth intertwined with the dark fruit. The palate is medium bodied and well balanced, supple and smooth with fine, integrated tannins. An amazing wine for the price. (VINTAGES panel, June 2014)
