The aromas here are quite inviting, suggesting ripe, dark fruit and rich vanilla. Bright acidity lifts things an octave or two on the palate, with lovely red fruit flavours taking the lead. There's very nice balance to the wine, and good purity. Nicely done. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014)
