Bright, light yellow. Subdued but fresh aromas of mango, pineapple, yellow flowers and nutty vanillin oak. Silky, fat and plump but also classically dry. More reticent than the other two 2012 chardonnays here, with its fruit partly hidden by oak today. I'd give this another year before pulling the cork. Score - 90.
