A wine crafted in the typical Bachelder style, with evolved flavours from long elevage, yet retaining a good dose of fruit. But it's honeyed-wet stone flavour that leads the profile, ample and mouthfiling, with really quite exceptional length and depth overall. A very serious Bourgogne all in all, one of the more concentrated I've tasted from the more typically light 2012 vintage. Tasted January 2015. Score - 91.
