Lamadrid Single Vineyard Bonarda 2011

Argentine Bonarda was once more widely planted than Malbec and was traditionally used in blends, but single-varietal examples are gaining popularity, and Bonarda is becoming quite a fashionable wine. This single-vineyard version has rich notes of blackberry, plum, earth and meats on the nose. Dense, complex and toasty, with chewy tannins. A ripe and fruit-forward single-vineyard Bonarda.
