Very spicy, peppery, rooty, meaty, cassis jam, black cherry, iodine, tobacco aromas. Ripe, round, supple but slightly rustic and tart palate. Blueberry, peppery, blackberry, coffee, vanilla, licorice root, savoury flavours. Good intensity if a bit rustic and young. Needs 2-4 years or try with roast lamb. Score - 89.
