Hidden Bench Estate Riesling 2013

This is a very fine, firm, subtle and dry, crunchy riesling. When last tasted January 2015 the lifted nose was showing intriguing citrus like honeyed grapefruit or orange nuances amid green apple and stony notes. It has 13.7 residual sugar but you would never guess that from the mouthwatering acidity and mineral finish. It is solid and well structured with excellent length, and the great energy I have come to expect from organically grown Bench riesling. Score - 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Jan. 2015)
