The Antiche Terre winery was founded in 2000, and in a short time has earned a reputation for respecting the traditions of the Veneto wine region, while injecting some new energy and style into its winemaking. Honkin' big black fruit with great depths of flavour and concentration. A pleasant finish with some notes of tar and smoke. Awesome price! Fire up the grill please! This robust red wine is made using the Ripasso method to add more depth and concentration to the final wine. This traditional method from Verona area adds young fresh wine to the Amarone skins of the grapes then referments the wine again so there is both freshness and fullness.
