The 2004 Gaintus is 100% Sumoll aged in French oak for 14 months. Dark ruby-colored, it has an enticing bouquet of cedar, smoke, clove, cinnamon, violet, cherry, and black raspberry. Medium-bodied, the wine is already revealing some complexity. Ripe, balanced, and long, it should blossom for another 3-5 years and show at its best through 2020. Score - 92.
