Stags' Leap The Leap Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

This is 100% cabernet from estate vines. It's not ready for prime time, but I really like the focus and purity of this cabernet. Lovely slightly floral currant-raspberry fruit is perfectly fitted with herbs, leafy and vaguely ferrous soiled notes and subtle oak. It's medium-full, quite tannic. Excellent to outstanding length. A bit more firm than many Napa cabs. Best 2020 to 2028ish. Score - 93. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Nov. 14, 2014)
