'Red Paw' wines are sourced from the reddish soil that's found on part of the Coyote's Run estate. It's fairly light and drains well, which affects the way the vines develop. 'Black Paw' wines, on the other hand (or paw), come from vines in heavier, darker soil that holds water more effectively.
