A spectacular Bordeaux blend from 2010, 2011 and 2012's Winery of the Year at the Canadian Wine Awards (the first time one winery has won three times in a row). This 2009 comes across like a fine St-Julien. Aromas suggest cured meat, cassis, raspberry, cinnamon and smoky cherry wood. Perhaps the richest, ripest nose of any of the Ontario 2009 red wines. Quite dry on the palate with the generous fruit given a great lift by a bright and lively acid backbone. This wine is still incredibly youthful. A monumental wine made for cellaring (3-4+ years).
